Zinc Education is an Ongar based charity working with vulnerable adults, children and young people.
This includes working with individuals with disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health concerns, deprivation and isolation.
Here at Zinc Education we do things a little differently. Because we’re a charity and not a school, we are regulated by different bodies, meaning we don’t need to prescribe to the old fashioned classroom approach. Instead, we can tailor our service to the needs of the individual and focus entirely on providing the best service to our students.
Our team of passionate individuals seek to promote inclusion and equality. We are extremely proud to have been working in our field for over 30 years, providing specialist participation for those individuals or groups for whom accessing and taking part in high quality arts activities is challenging or even near to impossible.
We believe in providing opportunities for all. Breaking through barriers and pushing everyone to try a little harder and achieve a little more than they ever thought possible.
By guiding students to discover and fulfil their potential we aim to produce well rounded, independent and happy individuals.
Zinc works with organisations throughout the country to provide bespoke programmes.
We work both nationally and locally, in Zinc’s fully- accessible building, with those who find it difficult to engage with mainstream education, exploration and self- advancement.
