SPORTS CLUB

ZINC ARTS

This FREE club is designed for young people aged 10–17, offering a safe and supportive space to explore new sports and activities they may not have experienced before. The programme aims to keep young people active, engaged, and positively supported through structured sessions.

Running over a 12-week period, each session will include one hour of dance followed by one hour of sport, providing a balanced mix of creativity, fitness, and fun. Participants will have the flexibility to choose which sessions they attend through our easy-to-use booking system.

The project is focused on encouraging healthy lifestyles, building confidence, and creating positive opportunities for young people within the community.

DANCE

Alisha is a professional dancer who has performed alongside top artists such as Stormzy, Rema, Craig David, and Davido. She has also showcased her talent at major events like the Brit Awards and the MOBO Awards. Alongside her stage success, Alisha is also a hit on TikTok, inspiring thousands with her dance content.

Alisha will be teaching Street/Commercial dance classes, where each week you’ll learn a brand-new routine, develop fresh moves, and build your confidence and style.

Time: 5pm - 6pm

Dates: Every wednesday from 15th april ending 8th july.

Plus not Minus  introduces young people to boxing fundamentals while building fitness, confidence, and discipline. Participants learn essential techniques including stance, guard, footwork, and defensive movements. Each session includes structured warm-ups, skill drills, and conditioning. As the program progresses, participants move on to advanced combinations and light technical sparring, concluding with a team challenge and reflection.

Duration: 4 weeks

Time: 6pm - 7pm

Dates: 15th, 22nd, 29th April and 6th May
 

BOXING

BASKETBALL

Harlow Hawks Basketball Club was setup by Coach Shab Niaz during the 1999-2000 season with approx 12-14 players under the age of 18, the purpose of this was to give the basketball training sessions a focus and to get them ready to enter a team into the Herts League for the following season.

n these sessions, you’ll receive high-quality basketball training, including an introduction to the fundamentals of the game. You’ll develop teamwork skills, build confidence, and most importantly have loads of fun along the way.

Duration: 4 weeks

Time: 6pm - 7pm

Dates: 14th, 20th May and 3rd,10th June
 

United Karate Association (UKA) was founded in 1981 by Sensei Ian Cuthbert and under his guidance has consistently been one of the most successful martial arts clubs in the UK.

Karate is a great way to develop yourself or your child and increase fitness, confidence and self esteem whilst becoming part of a club that values unity. There is something for the whole family at UKA, as parents often train alongside their children and get involved.

If you are looking to be a champion or simply learn how to defend yourself while getting fitter and make new friends, then a UKA club is right for you.
