Current Outreach Projects
Mix & Move (Sports England)
This is a FREE project aiming to get adults to step out of the house and into something exciting. Carving out time just for themselves, connecting with new people, and discovering fun, fresh activities that spark joy and confidence.
Each week will feature a different activity, led by a different instructor, either arts or sports based followed by lunch for the group. This project will run weekly for 12 weeks from 14th April to 7th July on Tuesdays 11am-1pm,
SPORTS CLUB (Sports England)
This FREE club is designed for young people aged 10–17, offering a safe and supportive space to explore new sports and activities they may not have experienced before. The programme aims to keep young people active, engaged, and positively supported through structured sessions.
Running over a 12-week period, each session will include one hour of dance followed by one hour of sport, providing a balanced mix of creativity, fitness, and fun. Participants will have the flexibility to choose which sessions they attend through our easy-to-use booking system.
The project is focused on encouraging healthy lifestyles, building confidence, and creating positive opportunities for young people within the community.
Girl's Inspired (Active Essex)
Our specialist sports and mentoring coaches work with young people who are identified as vulnerable which, without early intervention, could develop into more serious mental health issues and/or exploitation by others.
The project aims to:

Increase positive mental health and self-esteem

Increase understanding of risk-taking behaviors and vulnerabilities

Build resilience and create a safe environment to achieve a sense of belonging

Provide greater awareness of the dangers of social media and also how to stay safe in the community

Raise aspirations in education and inspire young leaders

Provide learning and post course access to low-cost opportunities

This programme will run weekly for 12 weeks, from April to July, on Tuesdays, from 11am-1pm, and is free for the public.

Our youth club is a welcoming and vibrant space where young people can have fun, hang out with their friends and chill out in a safe space. We offer a wide range of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, music, gaming, and cooking, ensuring there's something for everyone. Our dedicated youth workers provide guidance and support, helping members build confidence, leadership skills, and friendships. We also focus on health and wellbeing, offering fitness activities, workshops, and a safe, relaxed environment to unwind. Plus, we have tasty snacks available to keep everyone fueled and refreshed.
