Outreach

Community, Arts and Education Charity

Current Outreach Projects

Girl's Inspired (Active Essex)

Starting in September, specialist sports and mentoring coaches will work with young people who are identified as vulnerable which, without early intervention, could develop into more serious mental health issues and/or exploitation by others.

The project will aim to:

  • Increase positive mental health and self-esteem

  • Increase understanding of risk-taking behaviors and vulnerabilities

  • Build resilience and create a safe environment to achieve a sense of belonging

  • Provide greater awareness of the dangers of social media and also how to stay safe in the community

  • Raise aspirations in education and inspire young leaders

  • Provide learning and post course access to low-cost opportunities

Ongar Youth Club (Qualis)

Our youth club is a welcoming and vibrant space where young people can connect, grow, and have fun. We offer a wide range of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, music, gaming, and cooking, ensuring there's something for everyone. Our dedicated youth workers provide guidance and support, helping members build confidence, leadership skills, and friendships. We also focus on health and wellbeing, offering fitness activities, workshops, and a safe, relaxed environment to unwind. Plus, we have tasty snacks available to keep everyone fueled and refreshed.
