Girl's Inspired (Active Essex)

Our specialist sports and mentoring coaches have partnered with our local secondary schools to work with young people who are identified as vulnerable which without early intervention, could develop into more serious mental health issues and/or exploitation by others.

The project aims to:

  • Increase positive mental health and self-esteem

  • Increase understanding of risk-taking behaviors and vulnerabilities

  • Build resilience and create a safe environment to achieve a sense of belonging

  • Provide greater awareness of the dangers of social media and also how to stay safe in the community

  • Raise aspirations in education and inspire young leaders

  • Provide learning and post course access to low-cost opportunities

if you think your school would benefit from this and you'd like to enquire about bringing this to your school please contact:
