Zinc Arts Centre has an accessible residential centre that has been finished to a beautifully high standard throughout, specifically designed for groups attending or running educational workshops, training courses or conference events on-site at the Zinc Arts Centre. If your event runs over a number of days, then we can accommodate you.
This impressive accommodation suite boasts 25 bedrooms, 9 single rooms and 16 double occupancy accommodating groups of up to 41 guests. If your group is larger than we can accommodate and arrange additional accommodation at the nearest hotels and guest houses - within a five mile radius.
The suite of 25 rooms has been designed with the highest levels of accessibility in mind. Each room has an accessible en-suite wet room, and 6 rooms are equipped with electric ceiling hoists to allow disabled guests independent movement around the room and from the bedroom to the bathroom.
Most rooms have interconnecting doors allowing for the bedrooms to be laid out in a dormitory-style if you desire, but a key feature for these interconnecting doors is that it allows people with high support needs to have a carer nearby. Additionally, on the ground floor of the residential block we have a fully accessible bathroom.
