Why be more environmentally sustainable?
By cutting the amount of carbon you and your company produces, you can save money and give your organisation a competitive edge. Calculating your carbon footprint gives a good starting point for making change, holding a sustainability policy will instantly set you apart from your competitors when it comes to gaining funding and contracts.
With climate change, everyone talks about long-term targets: Britain is committed to an 80% cut by 2050, and at least 34% by 2020. To be able to do this, we each need to contribute in our own, al be it small way.
How to be more environmentally sustainable?
When considering ‘going green’ it is important to gain an understanding of what it really means to your business and why you should take measures to improve your carbon footprint.
Environmental sustainability does not have to be difficult, or a chore. It can be as simple as recycling your waste produces efficiently or using email to communicate rather than sending letters.
